So, I'm a little behind on replying again, thanks to life in general, but I'll get to those soon.

Anyway, I've been working on a new manip collection based on songs from the best artist/band ever, Owl City. The first on my list is Fireflies of course, followed closely by "If My Heart was a House" and "Vanilla Twilight," and from there I'll be taking requests. I don't know why I love them so much, but their songs just touch everything with a kind of magic I haven't heard or seen in a long, long time.

In other news, my subbie's running out soon. D: I suppose it doesn't matter much anyway, but I'm really going to miss my journal CSS, and features will have to go- poof. Don't expect many updates from me, bleh. xD

I'm trying to visit all my friends' pages and start faving/ commenting again- it makes me feel guilty to get comments without giving any in return. Dx Two days ago my deviations were at 4,444... Needless to say, I made a wish and faved the most recent.

I feel inspired today. Which is probably the reason I've posted two journals back-to-back; that's pretty much unheard of, coming from me.

Anyway, I've decided to start a new novel. I don't think it's very promising, commercial-wise, but I've fallen in love with it and I'm looking forward to finishing. Here's chapter one of My Sister's Secret:



I put the warning on to avoid trouble- the intended audience isn't young adults or tweens, obviously.

Problem is, I don't want it to be a public story, for a lot of reasons. Yet I still would like constructive criticism, so I think the best thing to is to start a mailing list. If anyone likes the story and is interested in being noted with new chapters to give advice or comments on, please let me know. I'll be picking five people I trust, if interested, to listen to the rest of the story and let me know what they think.

I'm back, kind of, I guess.

Life doesn't like me much right now, sadly, so I'm on here mostly to post art, seeing as that's the entire point of the site anyway. I'd like to thank everyone who added me to their watch list, or added a piece of mine to their faves- I wish I had time to thank you all individually. I'm afraid I won't be able to do that anymore, but if you do fave/watch, know that I appreciate it.

In other news, I may be making a new account soon. This one's gotten far too large for me to keep up with, so I think I'll be moving to a nice little non-premium (this one expires next month) account. I'll make sure to note all my closest friends and let you guys know what the account name is.

And, in addition, I owe lots of art. Yes, I'm aware. Aside from the fact that I never did fix that darn tablet, there's also my lack of motivation to finish it. I know I'm a terrible person, but it's the truth. All I'll be doing now are manips- mostly emotional, spur-of-the-moment- and literature.

Perhaps the saddest part of my update.... I'm not into Warriors much anymore. I just think the series is going downhill, so I've stopped following it. If I create any more fanfics, they'll be about the characters I love the most, from the old series and occasionally POT.

Well, I guess that's it. If you've left me a comment in the past, I'm probably not going to reply, but anything from now on will be answered, at least until I move accounts. And I'm no longer doing requests or trades, but I'll do my best to get one piece up a week.

Wow, you guys are crazy! XD

So, I'm back from my "vacation" and I have to say, out of every site I've signed up for and reviewed- loooong story lol, but that's why I've been so inactive- dA is definitely the best. It's got the greatest everything, but what I missed the most is the community. You guys are so awesome!!

Well, I came back to a GIANT MAN-EATING RADIOACTIVE SPIDER!!! (oh noes ) in my inbox, so I've spent all day going through 2,000+ deviations- most of which have been faved, so sorry for the inbox spamming, lol. I'm sorry to say that I don't have time to look at journals and polls, so if I missed anything important, tell me please!! I want to know what's going on! But worst of all is that I have to delete 560+ activity messages. I feel so bad- I have so many new watchers and people who faved my stuff, but I just can't get to all of you. I'm sorry, but I promise I'll stay on it from now on.

Tomorrow is... MESSAGE DAY!! 8D I'm only going to reply to the most important, to save time, but once my inbox is clear I'll answer everything. Anyway.......

I really, REALLY missed this place, and I'm so happy to be back!! I'm not very updated yet, but my tablet is fixed- YAY!!!- even if it hates Mac now, it's still (kinda) working!!, and I can't wait till tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! <-- many exclamation points

Oh, I am terrible lately.

Sigh. I've been ignoring this site for what? Almost 4 months now?! And all cause of this MAJOR art slump I've been having. Seriously. Despite what it looks like, I haven't been able to write or draw anything for FOREVER. And cause of that monster in my message center thing (somebody say meep?! O.O) I've been steering veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery clear of obligations.

But today I came on here and I was like, "You know what? I need a new journal layout, and I want to answer all my messages, and I want to get my tablet fixed (about time!) and start drawing again because I AM INSPIRED!!!" XD Yes, don't tell me how pathetic I am, I already know.

So, I would do all that today but *grumblegrumble* as it HAS to work out, I have literal TONS of homework to do, (ask Under- she agrees X3), so the best I can give you is a journal promising return.

INSPRIATION HAS STRUCK!!!
